GOT QUESTIONS?

We’re here to help! We’ve created thousands of wedding invitations and while each wedding is unique, there are questions that come up more often than others. Here is how we answer them.

HOW MANY INVITATIONS DO WE NEED?
You need one invitation per couple, not per person.
Use this formula: TOTAL NUMBER OF GUESTS x 65%. Invitations are sold in 25's so round UP and be sure to order extras – we've never seen a guest list shrink!

HOW MUCH DO INVITATIONS COST?
Good question! It depends on the quantity, design and printing method. Our customers invest between $1000 and $6000 on their stationery, invitations and day of suite.

WHAT PARTS AND PIECES DO WE NEED?
A typical invitation ensemble consists of: the invitation, reply set, and a reception card if the party is at a different location than the ceremony. These are placed in an envelope with a return address printed on the flap. More traditional styles also include an inner envelope as a formality, usually with a decorative liner. Don’t forget to put a stamp on the reply envelope.

WHAT IS PROPER WORDING FOR OUR WEDDING INVITATION?
There is proper etiquette to wording your wedding invitation. Who's hosting, complex family scenarios, and location all factor in. No worries! When you place your order at On Paper, be assured we will navigate all of the nuances and guide you to a perfectly worded invitation.

OUR CATERER NEEDS TO KNOW THE DINNER CHOICE FOR EACH GUEST.
HOW DO WE DO THAT?
We will include a section on the reply card where guests can indicate their entrée selection. When ordering your invitations, we only need to know the basic entrée options, not the firm menu. We won't need your full dinner details until a month before The Big Day when we print the menus.

CAN YOU CREATE CUSTOM DESIGNS?
Yes! We have a professional Graphic Designer on staff and can create a unique design especially for you. There is an additional fee for this service, starting at $200 and up.

CAN YOU PRINT OUR OWN DESIGN FILES?
Yes depending on our production schedule.  Just email info@onpaper.com for more information.

DO WE NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO LOOK AT INVITATIONS?
Yes! In order to serve you best and accommodate all of our clients, please schedule a complimentary appointment. Allow approximately 1 – 1½ hours for your first appointment. Feel free to bring samples of invitations you love, Instagram ideas, etc., they are a great start for our creative brainstorming session.
