Good things- small packages

Who doesn't love cool packaging? Not to mention a cool wedding - and a cool wedding invitation with cool packaging! That's just what we designed for Allix and Nate who asked On Paper to create a unique custom invitation just for them. Michelle worked with this creative couple who are getting married in Lyons, Colorado next month.

Here were the parameters of the project:

Letterpress, handwritten feel, fun, creative casual with a color palette to include vivid colors in turquoise and orange.

To add detail and reflect the wedding venue we were inspired by:

Succulents- The centerpieces for this upcoming fete - those adorable if not spiny cacti - offering a desert feel with a soft edge. We blind embossed a custom abstract floral design to add texture.

Yin/Yang logo - The logo of the super cool event venue, Planet Bluegrass.

Envelope details: Letterpressed envelope flaps with the logo detail and calligraphy played a large part. The whimsical envelope lettering in turquoise ink made it an irresistible can't wait to open presentation in the mailbox.

Finishing touches: To give a polished but handcrafted feel we added custom postage stamps, and waxed linen thread to create a post-perfect bundle finished with a circular hang tag.

We wish Allix & Nate a spectacular day and can not wait to see the wedding photos of this truly creative, open minded and open hearted couple!
