Invitation suites too sweet not to share

You made it! Thanks so much for coming along to our brand new website and blog. We hope you’ll enjoy perusing and shopping here.

While the website transformation was underway, our custom printing department was busy as ever creating invitations to perfectly reflect the personalities and styles of our brides, grooms, and their families. Wedding season isn’t over yet, but there are a few invitation suites we love so much, we can’t help but share them now! (And, faithful readers, if you want invitation inspiration throughout the year, we’re snapping and sharing pictures at: instagram.com/onpaperohio.)

Foil. Pocket. Wax seal. Interested? We thought so. Michelle, shop manager and invitationista, worked closely with bride Jenn and groom Paoul, to create an incredible introduction to their wedding weekend in Ponte Vedra.

The invitation: a custom seal pressed into gold wax brightens the navy pocket fold and adds a bit of sophisticated suspense.
By incorporating nautical motifs--knots, rope and anchors--and using a classic summer palette of navy, soft white and gold, this suite was marvelously maritime from start to finish. In this case, a cohesive aesthetic began with engagement party invitations and was carried through  to cocktail napkins for the reception, and thank you notes for after. Talk about organized! Don't worry if you're not ready to commit to a style so early on--save the dates are a great place to start.
We love how light catches the foil knot detail and the couple's names on their save the date.

The pièce de résistance of the suite is, of course, the invitation: letterpressed, foil stamped, and mounted in a navy pocket. Among our favorite features are the accessory cards, carefully scaled to show off those fabulous foil motifs. What's knot to love?
A pocket fold is a great option for couples planning weekend long events, keeping all the information organized (and gorgeous).

Our second featured invitation and the topic of our next blog post is a favorite of your truly (assistant manager and origami enthusiast, Beth).  Lovers of envelope liners will want to stay tuned!
