On Paper's Gift Guide: 12 Days of Holiday Giving, Day 10

On the tenth day of Christmas, I gave my love scrumptious scents

If you have a cologne connoisseur or a perfume enthusiast on your list, the fully stocked On Paper apothecary is the place to shop. Not only do we have a range of scents and price points, but we genuinely love fragrance (second only to paper), and would love to help you pick just the right one.

New to the shop this year is Carthusia, and those in the know understand what a treat it is to find these scents stateside. Made on Capri from a formula originally developed in the 1300s, these fragrances are timeless and sophisticated. Fiori di Capri was popularized by none other than Jackie O. Mediterraneo is a light, citrusy delight that could make you forget it’s not even technically winter yet. And Corallium is the spicy, sea-soaked scent that inspired us to bring Carthusia to On Paper in the first place.

Corallium, take us away!

We carry two unisex lines designed to be worn by anyone and everyone. These rich, dark numbers are especially wearable this time of year. Our favorites are woodsy Bulletproof and amber and oak Excess. The matte black bottles and ever-so-slightly macabre motifs make these fragrances chic and cheeky. Also try Tobacco 1812 or Old Bourbon which bring to mind a dark, cozy library.

We agree: Smell Good Daily

For floral, fruity, or powdery notes we recommend one of the other five (yes, five) lines available in the shop. Come on by and we’ll point in you in the right direction!
