J. Herbin D Bottle ink is the only bottled ink we sell and we've carried it for many years. Perfect for fountain pens, excellent quality that will not clog. This lightfast ink also dries quickly which dramatically decreases the chance of smearing and adds to the overall experience of writing.
Herbin uses all natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. This natural composition is reflected in the very neutral pH of the inks. Each bottle of 30 ml/1 oz ink is elegantly labeled and has a pen rest built in to the bottle design. They are known as “D bottle pen inks.” The “D” refers to the old French unit of measure “la Demi Courtine.”
