The Liliput is one of the oldest Kaweco models. In 1908, it already fascinated with its minimalistic design. Back then, it was made of ebonite. Today, the Kaweco Liliput still consists of only three parts: cap, barrel and front part.
The series' reduced and clear design makes for an exclusive fountain pen. The diverse materials of the different models makes this series especially versatile: Ranging from the light-weight aluminium model, to the individualized copper or brass, to our our robust and heavier stainless steel model, or, last but not least, our uniquely blued stainless steel variation that is blued by hand.
Measuring only 9.7 cm when closed, and only 8.7 cm when opened, the Liliput is one of the smallest fountain pens in the world. When the cap is attached to the barrel, writing is very comfortable with a pen size of 12.5 cm.
As usual the fountain pen is available in five different nib sizes. Thanks to the screw mechanism, the nib can be replaced easily. This pen is not compatible with a converter. Please indicate your preferred nib size (extra fine, fine, medium, broad) in the special instructions.
Fireblue:
- This absolutely gorgeous industrial finish is accomplished by hand, taking a torch to the metal barrel of each pen
- Due to the individual nature of this technique, each pen will differ slightly
